VIRAL-MI project introduced in EPA

At the 33rd European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA) 2025, held in Madrid, Spain, the VIRAL-MI consortium introduced the scientific rationale underpinning the project together with the preliminary results obtained during its initial phase of implementation. The presentation aimed not only to situate the project within the broader context of contemporary psychiatric research but also to elucidate its conceptual framework, methodological design, and emerging findings. By sharing these early insights with an international community of experts, the project team sought to stimulate critical discussion, obtain constructive feedback, and foster collaborations that may enhance the scientific robustness and clinical relevance of the subsequent stages of the study.
